DELICIOUS AND EXCITING NEWS!

We have added some amazing new cakes to our range! As with everything in The Cakery, these goodies are baked by us, in our kitchen for you to enjoy.

Here’s are just SOME of the newbies we’ll have on offer…

APPLE, ROSE WATER & WALNUT CAKE

Made entirely of natural ingredients, this is one of our new personal favourites! Even better when paired with a coffee or artisan tea as a breakfast treat or afternoon pick-me-up! The delicate touch of rose water really adds an extra layer of flavour.

OREO CAKE

Whilst not necessarily a new recipe, our Oreo cake is back due to popular demand! A gluten free and vegan friendly chocolate treat that everyone can enjoy! Double-layered chocolate sponge, topped with vegan butter icing and crushed Oreos before being topped with more Oreos… Crushed and whole!

LEMON AND GINGER SLICE

A gluten and vegan friendly alternative to the well-known Lemon Drizzle cake - packed with zesty lemon and zingy ginger. Soaked in lemon juice with ginger crystals throughout, topped with a thick, vegan buttery icing, it really is a slice of citrusy delight!

CARROT CAKE WITH EDIBLE FLOWERS

Certainly the most colourful of the new cakes, our carrot cake with edible flowers is a yummy treat for all, not just the kiddies! Vegan buttery icing is sandwiched between two layers of soft sponge and topped with elegant edible flowers! Did we mention is also gluten free?

We are so proud that all our cakes are baked on site, with no nasty additives and of course, with love. As always, we love your feedback, so if you’ve tried something new, please do let us know what you think!

NEW LUNCH MENU

OUR NEW SUMMER MENU IS HERE

A couple months back, we started thinking about Summer and how to update our menu to cater for the warmer months. We asked a couple of our local customers and the feedback was really valuable!

A huge thank you to those who told us what you liked on our menu, what you’d like to see more of, and what get’s your taste buds excited at lunchtimes. We took all your lovely comments into consideration, and put our culinary skills to the test!

June 2nd saw the launch of our brand new and improved summer lunch menu, and here’s a low down of our new dishes on offer!

THE CAKERY SALAD

We are seriously excited about this one! It’s vegan, it’s packed with healthy sources of protein, marinated olives and - it’s delicious. Choose from a variety of toppings, this one is guaranteed to switch up your usual salad.

ARTISAN TOASTED SARNIES SERVED WITH SALAD

Sundried tomatoes, mozzarella and pesto. Is there really a better summery combination? We think not. We can also make this one vegan! You’re welcome.

FRESHLY BAKED BAGUETTES

Our baguettes are made fresh, in our kitchens everyday. Filled with falafel and hummus, cheddar and chutney or pesto and mozzarella, we’re certain there’s a baguette for everyone. And for all our vegans out there, we can feed you too!

SHAKSHUKA

With a North African spicy sauce, baked eggs (free range of course) and a side of warm, fresh baked bread* – this newcomer is one we can see sticking around! Warm, comforting, tasty and healthy, this is one item we’re super proud of.

*Gluten free bread is also available!

CREAM TEAS

We HAD to include a delectable dessert on the lunch menu, and this time is the very traditional and very British Cream Tea. Homemade scones, clotted cream, a side of jam and a pot of Artisan tea, we challenge you to think of a better way to finish lunch.
